Hi, My name is Tanya Quintero-Campillo Assistant Director at ABC Barn and I have dedicated my life to education and working with children. I grew up in Calexico, Ca a small border town about 120 miles east of San Diego. I am a fluent English and Spanish speaker. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with Specialization in Early Childhood Special Education with a Minor in Chicano Studies from San Diego State University including a credential in K-12 Mild/Moderate Special Education along with my Masters in Special Education from National University.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family. My husband is a high school teacher, and my son (ABC Barn alum) is currently in middle school. We enjoy going on walks together with our fur baby Macey (rescued dog), going to concerts/sporting events, having family game nights, and watching Carlos play baseball and basketball. For 20 years, I have been part of the SVLC/ABC Barn family and I enjoy working and watching the children grow and learn. ABC Barn is more than a preschool for me and to our community; it’s a family and caring for them is what I love.
