Worshipping God Through Music & Creative Expression
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! – Psalm 150:6

Music and the arts are powerful expressions of worship, drawing us closer to God and one another. Whether through song, instrument, or creative expression, all are invited to share their gifts in worship.

Music as Worship at SVLC
When words fail, music becomes our prayer.

Music stirs our hearts, connects us with God, and becomes a powerful expression of prayer and praise. As Martin Luther said, 'Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise. The gift of language combined with the gift of song was given to man that he should proclaim the Word of God through music.' The music in our worship blends timeless and contemporary styles to deepen faith and unite our community.
