As a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation, we affirm the inherent worth of all individuals, including our LGBTQIA+ siblings. We explicitly welcome people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, races, and ethnic backgrounds, believing that such inclusivity enriches our faith community.

Our Participation in the San Diego Pride Parade

In partnership with Lutherans for Love—a collective of ELCA congregations advocating for inclusive love—we participate annually in the San Diego Pride Parade. Alongside other local RIC churches, we walk together to embody Christ's love and the full inclusion of all people.

How to Get Involved

We invite you to participate in our mission of embracing all in Christ's love. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • March with Us: Join fellow congregants and members of other local RIC churches in the San Diego Pride Parade, demonstrating unity and support.​

  • Assist with Float Preparation: Lend your creativity to help decorate our float, reflecting our message of inclusive love.​

  • Post-Parade Fellowship: Participate in or help organize our picnic at Balboa Park following the parade—a time for community and celebration.​

We also welcome support for our participation, including donations or Thrivent Financial Community Impact Cards to help cover costs for supplies and refreshments.
