Dear ABC Barn Preschool Families,

It is with joy that Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church announces that we have reopened the ABC Barn Children's Place Preschool as of May 18th, 2020.

Our administrative staff and teachers have been hard at work preparing our space for our students to return under new circumstances and licensing requirements from the state. To enroll your child, please email abcbarn@svlc.org, or call 619-670-3898.

While we've had to make changes in the way we keep children safe in our school due to COVID-19, our level of commitment and care hasn't changed one bit. Here are a few things that have changed:

  • Digital check-in (via Brightwheel) on your own device
  • New classroom sizes and ratios per state licensing requirements
  • All teachers, staff, and family members are required to wear masks while on property
  • Teachers, students, and staff are required to monitor their own health through daily temperature-taking
  • New sanitization procedures in effect for bathrooms, classrooms, and playgrounds
